Fans opinions on Asake’s ‘Lungu Boy‘ have been remarkably divided; although some have praised the album and even drawn comparisons to his earlier releases, others have expressed disappointment with the effort. However, in the week of August 24, ‘Lungu Boy’ debuts at No. 4 on the Billboard World Albums Chart. This marks Asake’s third entry on the chart after “Mr Money With The Vibe’ and ‘Work of Art’ debuted at No. 2 and No. 4 respectfully on the Billboard World Albums Chart upon release.
The decision of whether or not Asake achieves a Trifecta with his third studio album, is entirely up to individual judgement but commercially ‘Lungu Boy’ continues to prove a success like Asake’s debut and sophomore.
