Ayra Starr Reveals How She Convinced her Label to Record Debut Album
Mavins record youngest talent and singer, Ayra Starr has revealed how she convinced her record label to release her debut album.

The singer who recently released her debut album “19 and Dangerous” spoke to Beat FM during an interview.

According to her, she had to do something because her record label won’t let her release her debut album saying she was too young.

She said she had to do a powerpoint presentation to convince her label to allow her do the album.

Revealing further, the singer said she had recorded songs on the album two years ago and never knew she was creating a body of work.

She then decided it was time to release an album when she turned 19.

In her exact words

“So I knew this album was going to be 19 & Dangerous like two years ago. So this year when I clocked 19, I was like okay, I want an album. Everybody was saying it was too fast and too early to drop an album. So I made like a PowerPoint presentation for my record label. Because I felt like I was recording songs that just had like a message. I was recording a body of work without even knowing I was recording a body of work.”
