Nigerian Grammy Awards winner, Burna Boy has received his plaque after winning the prestigious awards.
The Afrobeat influence and self-acclaimed African Giant won the awards earlier in March as he makes history becoming the first artiste of Nigerian descent to win the awards on his individual music project.
Burna Boy coasted to victory at the 63rd Grammys with his “Twice As Tall” which he released in 2020 much to critical acclaim. He won it on the “Best Global Music Album” category.
The singer posted the plaque via his Instagram handle with the caption “Early Morning deliveries from across the pond” as he reveals the achievement of his two sisters and how success is a product of sacrifice.
According to Burna Boy, his parents never prayed for success but for successful children and his sisters are flying high in their careers even as he is on the winning side.
