The Nigerian Singing duo of Burna Boy and Wizkid have won the Grammy Awards for the first time in their musical careers.
History was made yesterday, 14th March, at the 63rd edition of the prestigious Grammy Awards, when two Nigerians, Burna Boy and Wizkid, bagged home, individual awards.
Self-acclaimed African Giant, Burna Boy who was the first Nigerian to be nominated back-to-back at the awards coasted home to victory with his “Twice As Tall” album, and won in the Global Music Album category as the “Best World Music Album”.
International Nigerian super star, Wizkid also won the awards for his contribution to “Black Skin Girl” by Beyonce. He won in the Best Music Video Category.
The feat has since sent the social media agog as Nigerians have continued to shower accolades on both stars.
