Davido Joins Coachella 2026 Lineup, Marking His Festival Debut
For the first time in his illustrious career, Davido has been confirmed as a performer at the iconic event, scheduled for April 10–12 and April 17–19, 2026, at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California. Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival unveiled the lineup for its 2026 edition, marking a significant moment for Nigerian Afrobeats superstar Davido (David Adeleke). This debut appearance positions him as the only Nigerian artist on the bill, alongside other African and diaspora talents like British-Nigerian rapper Little Simz and British-Kenyan singer PinkPantheress.
Coachella, known for its eclectic mix of genres and massive global viewership (often exceeding 100 million via livestreams), has increasingly spotlighted African artists in recent years. Davido’s inclusion continues this trend, following standout performances by Nigerian acts with 2024 seeing the largest presence of Nigerian artists on the Coachella stage which included performance from two-time Grammy winner Tems, Wizkid, Spinall, Fireboy, and Teni. In 2025, Seun Kuti and the Egypt 80 returned for their third performance while Rema made his debut on the Coachella stage.
The Coachella 2026 lineup features a diverse array of headliners and acts spanning pop, reggaeton, electronic, rock, and more. Announced via the festival’s official poster on September 16, 2025, the bill is headlined by Justin Bieber, Sabrina Carpenter, Karol G, and Anyma across the two weekends. Other notable performers include The Strokes, Iggy Pop, Nine Inch Nails (with Boys Noize), FKA twigs, Central Cee, Giveon, and Teddy Swims.

Davido is slated to perform on Sundays, April 12 and 19, 2026, bringing his Afrobeats energy to the festival’s main stages. As the sole Nigerian representative, his set is expected to showcase timeless hits and songs from his 2025 project ‘5IVE’. Davido’s performance could also feature elaborate stage setups, guest appearances from collaborators like Chris Brown or Omah Lay, and choreographed dancers, similar to his recent tours.
