Juls teams up with Masego for ‘Perspective’
After ushering listeners into a dynamic world of sounds with tapes like ‘Colour’ and ‘Sounds of My World’, it appears that London-born Ghanian producer Juls is gearing up for yet another project. Usually in collaboration with extremely talented artists, Juls blends their world with his, creating nothing short of magic.
For his third release this year, Juls joins forces with Jamaican R&B and Afropop singer Masego. The song titled ‘Perspective’ comes months after “Hold You Down” with British-Nigerian artist Odeal and ‘Best Interest’ with British-Nigerian artist Jayo.
‘Perspective’ highlights with groovy, delicious sound the beauty and essence of soaking up diverse cultures and being receptive to the freedom that comes with. “She’s Naija and mixed with Brasileira/Speak the language/worship in Yoruba/She collects perspective.” The tang of percussions, trumpet, and birds chirping gives life to the lyrics, creating a lush, warm Caribbean sensation for listeners.
The artwork for ‘Perspective’ is similar to Juls’ earlier drops this year, indicating that he’s working on a comprehensive tape. All three releases seem to be from the same sonic world, as they put listeners in an identical zone.
