Mannywellz gears up to release his next EP titled ‘Lala’
Following a string of viral hit singles, Nigerian-born, Maryland-based artist Mannywellz is gearing up to release his highly anticipated EP titled “Lala” on October 29, 2024.
The announcement follows a string of viral hit singles, “Ouu wee (brown)”—a message aimed at empowering Black women—and “Looking For God,” with its emotionally charged lyrics and melodic delivery, have gained massive traction on social media platforms, especially TikTok.
Mannywellz ability to connect deeply with listeners by reflecting his vulnerability as an artist through music that melts R&B, soul, and afrobeats makes the news of a forthcoming EP all the more exciting for his fans.
Earlier this year, Mannywellz took a bold stance by choosing to limit his releases on major streaming platforms like Spotify and Apple Music. Instead, he has committed to releasing 24 songs in 2024, with only eight available on DSPs. So, fans can expect a 6-track EP or less, certainly nothing more.
