The rapper dropped the single just last month in preparation for his latest studio album dubbed “UY Scuti” billed for release next week.
His single has climbed to the number 9 spot on the Billboard’s Triller Global chart alongside some international stars.
The chart which is updated weekly saw Olamide’s “Rock” rise from the 17th spot last week into the Top 10 this week.
His single was ranked alongside songs from Justin Beiber and Nicki Minaj. His latest single made it to the top 10 because it was among the most played songs on the Thriler App across the world for the week.
The feat is coming at a time when there’s much debate on the social media about the rapper being the best of the decade in Nigeria.
