Pa Salieu is set to release his highly anticipated mixtape ‘Afrikan Alien’ on November 15, marking a significant moment in his career post-incarceration. The 27 years old Gambian-British rapper, known for his fierce energy, raw storytelling, and unique fusion of UK rap, drill, and Afrobeats, is coming off a challenging period.
In December 2022, Salieu was sentenced to nearly three years in prison for his involvement in a violent disorder incident and using a smashed bottle as an offensive weapon in 2018. He was released in September 2024 and wasted no time in reconnecting with his craft, dropping tracks like “Belly,” which hint at his reflections on the time spent away and his determination to reclaim his spot in the UK rap scene.
