Singer Reekado Banks is worried about the state of the country with the recent death tolls and unrest, and says if not checked, war is imminent.
The star singer took to his twitter page to lament on the current state of Nigeria and decried how politicians are going silent about it.
Over the last few months, violence has tripled across Nigeria, the activities of bandits have gone haywire and Boko Haram is still on rampage claiming regions for themselves and killing many.
Abductions have also soared including the abduction and killing of innocent students.
Reekado Banks says a civil war is looming if the government allows this civil unrest to continue unabated and the average Nigerian will be the most hit by it.
The singer who was once part of the famous Mavin Records spots an iconic voice and has been a sensational singer since he got his start with the platform of the Mavins.
Check out his tweet below.
Nigeria is on the brink of a civil war & the politicians are doing everything to enable it because their schemes thrive in havoc & when there’s a divide. As citizens, who will suffer the most from this impending disaster, we must do everything within our power to champion peace.
