Timaya Reacts to Burna Boy Being Honored By Rivers Government
Veteran Nigerian singer, Timaya has reacted to the stately recognition and awards given to Burna Boy by the Rivers State Government.

Burna Boy was over the weekend received by his people in Rivers State at a homecoming concert and grand reception put together to honor him for receiving a Grammy Awards.

The star-studded concert was attended by other music acts from the region which included Timaya as he was bred in Port Harcourt.

Burna Boy was subsequently awarded with the second highest honor in Rivers State “DSSR”, given a plot of land at the Old G.R.A part of the city, given N10 million and some money to build a house on the land all by the Rivers State Governor, Barr. Ezenwo Wike.

The gifting has triggered Nigerians to react saying it was just too much, but the Egberi Papa 1 of Bayelsa isn’t on the same page with them.

In his words via his Instagram page as he posted a video of the event, he said: “We gatto honour our own, Oluwa Burna night was 2 STOOPID”
