Wizkid Exceeds Fela’s Record on Billboard World Albums Chart
Starboy Wizkid better known now as Big Wiz has exceeded the record created by Afrobeat legend and pioneer, Fela Kuti on the Billboard World Albums Chart.

The Afrobeat legend created the record in 1999 when he released his album dubbed “The Best of the Black President” and the album charted for 45 weeks on the Billboard World Albums chart making it the longest charting album in history.

However, Wizkid has attained the feat and even surpassed it with an additional week on the chart making it 46 weeks in total.

The singer made it with his “Made In Lagos” album which has received streams of accolades and international acclaims.

The album also peaked at number One on the Billboard chart while that of Fela got to number three.
